ABC Challenge: #943 Under My Spell L'Oreal

Sono quasi alla fine di questo lungo ABC Challenge che mi ha obbligata a tirare fuori smalti comprati e abbandonati senza mai averli usati.

E' stato bello riscoprire pezzi che non ricordavo nemmeno, indossarli almeno una volta ha almeno in parte giustificato ogni mio incauto acquisto!


Per la lettera U ho scelto #943 Under My Spell, un top coat glitter di L'Oreal comprato lo scorso anno per un paio di euro in profumeria, e l'ho steso su una base verde perlato, te la mostrerò per bene alla lettera V.

L'Oreal classifica Under My Spell come un top coat Sirene e in effetti con tutti i glitter azzurri e olografici di diverse dimensioni immersi in una base di finissimi microglitter turchese ricorda la coda di una sirenetta!



Per ottenere questo risultato pieno ho fatto due passate, il pennello preleva benissimo i glitter e la stesura è stata proprio facile.

Ho applicato uno strato abbondante di top coat ad asciugatura rapida per rendere la superficie delle unghie bella liscia e per asciugare più in fretta i vari strati di smalto, lo faccio per tutti i miei amati glitterazzi!



Io ho adorato questo smalto, magari lo trovi anche tu a pochi spiccioli come me!

I'm almost at the end of this ABC Challenge that forced me to wear some unused polishes.

It was good to see again some neglected polish and wear them for just one time had justifyed my purchase.

For letter U I choose L'Oreal Under My Spell #943, a glitter top coat that I bought last year for a couple euro.

I applyed it over a green base, I'll show you this better for my V.

L'Oreal classified Under My Spell as a Top Coat Sirene and with its blue and holographic multisized glitter in a turquoise jelly base remind me of a little mermaid!

To achieve this look I did two coats, the brush pick the perfect amount of glitter and it was easy to apply.

I applyed a good layer of fast dry top coat to have a nice nail surface and to dry the layers as I do for all my beloved glitterazzi polishes!

HPB Presents: Dusty Dentelle Manicure

Il tema per questo mese del gruppo Hobby Polish Bloggers sono i colori dusty, quindi si parla dei delicati rosa antico, azzurro polvere, verde salvia e via dicendo.

Io ho scelto il mio nuovo smalto Rimmel #128 Mistify Me (che ti avevo mostrato in questo post), un delicato beige che ho abbinato a una trama pizzo realizzata con il nail stamping.


Le trame per il nail stamping pizzo sono tra le mie preferite, ne possiedo tantissime e mi piace usarle per manicure romantiche.

Per questa nail art ho usato il disco MoYou London 07 Bridal Collection che acquistai due anni fa in occasione del mio matrimonio (mi sembrava un'ottima scusa per comprare dischetti nuovi!) e che avevo già usato in questa e questa nail art.


Mi sono aiutata con il mio stampino trasparente per centrare bene il disegno sull'unghia, essendo una trama a pizzo non volevo tutte le unghie perfettamente identiche.

A me è piaciuta molto, ogni tanto una manicure discreta sta bene anche su di me!

This month theme for Hobby Polish Bloggers group is dusty colors, antique pink, azure, muted green and so on.

I choose my new Rimmel #128 Mistify Me ( I have showed you here), a delicate beige that I matched with a stamped lace pattern.

I truly love lace pattern, I own several stamping plate with this design and I like to use them for my romantic manicures.

For this nail art I used a MoYou London plate #07 from Bridal Collection that I bought two years ago for my wedding (a perfect occasion to buy new nail plate!) and that I previously used in this and this nail art.

I used my clear stamper to perfectly stamp my nails because with this kind of pattern I like to achieve a not identical look.

I really liked this manicure, I sometimes wear a sober manicure too!

Twinsie Tuesday: Monochrome Pond Manicure Tutorial

E' passato molto tempo dal mio ultimo nail art tutorial, solitamente mi limito a semplici nail stamping che non necessitano di spiegazione.

Oggi però approfitto del tema delle Twinsie Tuesday per provare una tecnica nuova, la Pond Manicure, naturalmente rivista e modificata da me!

Essenziale per questa tecnica di nail art è uno smalto jelly da usare per stratificare il colore, io ne ho comprato giusto un paio della Essence a prezzi contenuti!


Nella Pond Manicure classica si alternano strati di smalto a pallini fatti con il dotter, lo smalto jelly lascerà così intravedere gli strati sottostanti per un effetto davvero particolare.

Io ho deciso di usare lo stamping invece dei pois con il dotter e di alternare i disegni della trama, segui tutti i passaggi per scoprire come!

Per questa manicure ho usato il disco Bundle Monster BM-607, l'ho usato per la prima volta e i disegni che contiene mi piacciono molto, soprattutto perchè i due che ho scelto si abbinano perfettamente!

Today I'm taking advantage of Twinsie Tuesday theme to try a new technique, the Pond Manicure.

Today I'm writing a nail art tutorial to explain all the steps of this manicure.

For this technique you must use a jelly nail polish so you can do several layers. I bought just a couple from Essence Jellys.

For the classical Pond Manicure you must alternate nail polish and white dots for two or three times, the jelly polish will let the layers show.

I used nail stamping instead of dotting tool and I alternated two patterns, follow the tutorial for details!

For this manicure I used Bundle Monster BM-607 plate, it was my first time with this plate and I really like its patterns, I choose two perfectly matching patterns.

ABC Challenge: Rimmel London 128 Mistify Me

Lentamente cerco di recuperare gli appuntamenti che ho perso nell'ABC Challenge.

La mia lettera R è Rimmel #128 Mistify Me, uno dei due smalti che ho comprato recentemente, ricordi questa nail art?


Rimmel  #128 Mistify Me fa parte della collezione Nude firmata Kate Moss.

Solitamente questo tipo di colori non sono il mio genere, ma il sottotono freddo di Mistify Me mi ha subito attratta.


Trovo questa nuance davvero elegante, apprezzatissima da donne di tutte le età per quanto sia sobria e discreta.

Naturalmente non ho resistito a farci una manicure, ma te la mostrerò nel post di domani, quindi se sei curiosa torna a trovarmi!

Rimmel  #128 Mistify Me is part of the Nude collection by Kate Moss.

Usually I do not like this kind of colors, but the cool undertone of Mistify Me attracted me.

I find this nuance elegant, it was appreciated from a variety of women for its sobriety.

Naturally I couldn't resist to do a nail art with this polish, but I will show you tomorrow.

Lip Swatch: Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir Le Rouge 069 Lilac Belt

L'ultima volta che sono stata in profumeria sono stata attratta dal packing della nuova collezione trucco per la primavera 2016 di casa Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noir.

Questa linea include 8 smalti e 20 rossetti racchiusi in una confezione che riprende quella del profumo La Petite Robe Noir.


Il tappo ha il classico cuore rovesciato in plexiglass, mentre il fusto è nero e riporta la scritta Guerlain. La confezione poi è trasparente e rende abbastanza agevole individuare il colore che preferiamo dal fondo.

Il nome completo di questa nuova linea di rossetti è La Petite Robe Noir Deliciously Shiny Lip Colour, che più o meno suona rossetto deliziosamente brillante e dietro questo nome particolare c'è un motivo...


La Petite Robe Noir Le Rouge infatti ha una profumazione floreale fruttata con accenti di bergamotto, rosa e lampone ispirate alle note olfattive del profumo La Petite Robe Noir, anche il sapore è dolce e ogni volta che lo metto non posso fare a meno di passare la lingua sulle labbra!


Tra i venti colori proposti, che hanno diversi finish e nuance, ho scelto il #069 Lilac Belt, un bel lilla che sembra scuro dal fusto del rossetto ma una volta applicato appare più chiaro e decisamente portabile.

Il finish è lucidissimo e a me piace molto avere le labbra brillanti in primavera, così riverberano ogni piccolo raggio di sole!


La texture è molto cremosa e l'applicazione è piacevolissima, il colore si fonde come burro sulle labbra ed è modulabile, con una sola passata è appena percepibile mentre facendo altre passate diventa più intenso.

La formula contiene degli oli sottili uniti a pigmenti vibranti che, combinati con una resina speciale, garantiscono un effetto brillante e un colore intenso.


Il prezzo non è certo piccolo, ma come sai io preferisco investire in 'pochi' pezzi che valgano e La Petite Robe Noir Le Rouge con il suo profumo, sapore e la bellissima confezione vale fino all'ultimo cent!

Last time I went to a beauty corner I was attracted by the packing of the new Guerlain make up collection for spring 2016, La Petite Robe Noir.

This brand new polish and lipstick line is inspired by the fragrance La Petite Robe Noir and the packing too is matching the fragrance with its upside heart.

Among the twenty colors of the collection I choose #069 Lilac Belt, a light purple that shows darker from the bullet.

The scent of this lipstick is floral and fruity with bergamot and rose and raspberry scent. Its taste is juicy too, I can't avoid lick my lips every time I wear it!

The finish is super shiny and I love shiny lips in spring, they sparkle at every sunray!

The texture is creamy and it applyes like butter. The color is buildable from super light to more intense.

The price is not little but I prefer to invest in 'few' worthful pieces and La Petite Robe Noir Le Rouge  with its scent, taste and packing is worth up to the last penny!

Twinsie Tuesday: Tulips Nail Art

Il tema di oggi per il gruppo delle Twinsie Tuesday sono i tulipani.

Questa primavera mi sta ispirando tante nail art fiorite come non mi era mai successo e quindi ho accolto ben volentieri la proposta.

Tra le mie water decal ne ho trovato alcune che facevano proprio al caso mio, sono del tipo che si applica su tutta l'unghia e raffigurano dei tulipani rosa.


Ho deciso di applicare le decal solo su un paio di unghie e di fare un semplice monocolore sulle altre.

Ho scelto un bel rosa corallo di Kiko che mi sembra si abbini perfettamente e, per arricchire un pò, ho applicato delle borchiette piatte dorate alla base delle unghie.


Ho applicato una dose generosa di top coat per proteggere le decal e fissare le borchiette.

Non dimenticare di andare a fare visita ai blog delle mie amiche per dare uno sguardo alle loro nail art ispirate ai tulipani!

Today theme for Twinsie Tuesday is tulips.

This spring is inspiring me a lot of floral manicure then I gladly accepted the theme.

Among my water decals I found some full nail ones with pink tulips that fit well.

I applyed the decals just on a couple of nails leaving others plain.

I choose a coral pink from Kiko that matches wonderfully and just to cheer it up I applyed some golden flat studs at the base.

I apply top coat to protect the water decals and to fix the studs.

ABC Challenge: Turbulent Sephora Formula X

Una settimana di lavoro intenso che non mi ha permesso di stare troppo dietro al blog e mi ritrovo indietro con l'ABC Challenge!

Spero di recuperare presto e di mettermi in pari con le mie amiche di unghie, intanto ecco la mia T.
Ho scelto Turbulent della linea Formula X di Sephora, l'ho acquistato quasi due anni fa durante la mia luna di miele negli USA e non l'ho mai usato prima di oggi!


Turbulent è un glitter topper in base trasparente, i glitter azzurri e neri sono di diverse dimensioni e sono opachi.

Mi piace molto questa nuova tipologia di glitter, più discreti ma sempre festosi.


Una piacevole sorpresa è stata l'applicazione, il pennello preleva tantissimi glitter e non c'è bisogno di dover raschiare il fondo della boccetta per avere una coprenza adeguata. Quelle che vedi in foto sono due sole passate, per un risultato più sobrio avrei potuto farne una sola ma... la sobrietà non fa per me! XD



Ho usato come base Zoya Kristen che è un bell'azzurro polvere (te lo mostrerò bene quando arriveremo alla lettera Z!) e fa risaltare benissimo il nero e l'azzurro dei glitter.

I've had an intense week at work and now I am late with my ABC Challenge!

I hope I can catch up with my nail friends as soon as possible, in the meanwhile here it is my T.

I choose Turbulent from Sephora Formula X, I bought it during my honeymoon in Usa almost two years ago and I did not use it before today!

Turbulent is a glitter topper in a clear base, the blue and black glitter are multi sized and matte.
I love this new kind of glitter, more quiet but fun!

The application was so good, the brush picks a lot of glitter and you don't need to scrape off the bottom of the bottle for a decent amount of glitter.

In my pics you see two coats, I could have done just one coat for a sober look but I am not a sober person! lol

As my base I used Zoya Kirsten, I will show you this beauty for my Z post, I think it let the glitter pop.

Novità: MoYou London Flower Power Collection

In questa bellissima primavera sto facendo quasi esclusivamente manicure floreali, quindi la nuova collezione di MoYou London Flower Power capita al momento giusto!

MoYou ha appena lanciato 16 dischi per nail stamping (in vendita da domani, venerdì 15 aprile 2016) con tantissimi decori floreali.


Si va dai classici fiori più realistici a quelli più stilizzati, fino ai motivi paisley che io adoro in modo particolare.
