Twinsie Tuesday: Mona Lisa Smile - Inspired by Art

Il tema di oggi per il gruppo delle Twinsie Tuesday è ispirato dall'arte.

Da sempre trovo questi temi troppo difficili per le mie scarse capacità artistiche, quindi mi sono fatta furba e ho acquistato delle decalcomanie ad acqua da usare per queste occasioni! 😝

Per questo martedì ho deciso di strafare e di mostrare il massimo capolavoro di Leonardo sulle mie unghie: niente meno che la Gioconda!

Per accompagnare tale capolavoro dell'arte italiana ho scelto uno smalto olografico nuovo di Born Pretty. Si tratta delle nuove formulazioni olografiche nel formato da 10 ml, ho scelto il #H002 Magic Rainbow da provare (lo trovi a questo link) e mi è stato inviato dalla gentile PR di Born Pretty Store.

Today theme of Twinsie Tuesday group is inspired by art.

I always find this kind of theme hard to do because I suck at free hand, then I got smart and bought some water decals I can use for those occasions!😝

For this tuesday I decided to overdo it and I show you the greatest masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci on my nails: nothing less than the Gioconda!

To match this italian masterpiece I chose a holo polish from new Born Pretty collection.

Nail Challenge Collaborative - Nail Crazies Unite: Winter #2 - Blue & White Sweater

Nel post di oggi unisco due temi per due diversi nail challenge.

Il primo tema è bianco e blu per il gruppo Nail Crazies Unite, il secondo tema è l'inverno per il gruppo Nail Challenge Collaborative.

Per la mia nail art mi sono ispirata a una manicure di Lou di Urban Nail Art di qualche tempo fa.
Ho seguito il suo mini tutorial cambiando solamente il colore in blu, il disco per stamping ed eliminando ogni traccia di disegno a mano libera! 😆

Ho applicato una base fiordaliso, poi con una spugnetta ho creato una texture con lo smalto bianco.

Ho stampato in blu la trama del disco Qgirl-041.

Come accent ho stampato in bianco qualche bottone sull'anulare da un disco cinese Xiuya 01 copia di MoYou London Fairytale Collection 13.


Ho applicato il top coat per proteggere la mia manicure.

In today post I join two nail challenges with just a nail art.

The first prompt is for Nail Crazies Unite and it is Blue and white, the second prompt is for Nail Challenge Collaborative and it is my second winter manicure.

I took my inspiration from a manicure from Lou of Urban Nail Art.

I followed her mini tutorial but changed colors, stamping plates and any free hand painting! 😆

I applied a cornflower base, then with a sponge I randomly dabbed some white polish.

I stamped in blue the pattern from Qgirl-041 plate.

As my accent I stamped in white some buttons from a chinese plate Xiuya 01 that is a copy of MoYou London Fairytale Collection 13.

I applied top coat to protetc my manicure.

Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents: Winter #1 - Snowy Night

Da poco mi sono inserita in un nuovo gruppo di nail blogger, Nail Challenge Collaborative, coordinato dalla gentile Helena di Lacky Corner.

Nail Challenge Collaborative ha lo scopo di stabilire un tema mensile su cui ognuna deve realizzare almeno due nail art da condividere con le altre.

Questo nuovo modo di fare nail art, in collaborazione con altre blogger, mi piace molto, stimola la mia fantasia e mi apre alla conoscenza di tante altre ragazze che hanno la mia stessa passione.

Il tema per gennaio è l'inverno. In effetti per me gennaio è stato il mese in cui l'inverno si è fatto sentire più cattivo, abito nel centro Italia e tra i disagi causati dalla neve oltre un metro e ritorno del terremoto non sono stata mai tranquilla 😥.

Nella mia nail art ho rappresentato la notte in cui ha cominciato a scendere la prima neve e come un manto ha coperto tutto quanto.

Ho realizzato una base sfumata con tre diversi smalti dall'azzurro al blu applicati con una spugnetta su tutte le unghie.

Poi ho stampato in bianco dei fiocchi di neve dal disco MoYou London Festive 02, scegliendoli di diverse forme e dimensioni e posizionandoli sempre decentrati.

Con il dotter ho aggiunto dei pallini bianchi.

Ho applicato il top coat per sfumare il gradiente e proteggere la mia nail art.

Recently I joined a new nail blogger group coordinated by kind Helena from Lacky Corner, Nail Challenge Collaborative.

Nail Challenge Collaborative has the purpose to give a monthly theme, every partecipant must do at least two manis to share.

I love this new way to do nail art in collaboration with other bloggers, it stimulates my imagination and let me know other girls with my same passion.

January theme is Winter. For me January has been the month in which the winter was meaner. I live in the centre of Italy and we had more than a meter of snow and a new earthquake 😥.

In my nail art I represented the night of the first snow that covered everything with a white coat.

I did a gradient base with three blue polishes that I applyed with a sponge.

Then I stamped in white some snowflakes from MoYou London Festive 02, I chose them in different sizes and shapes.

I added some white dots with dotting tool.

I applied top coat to fade my gradient and to protect my nail art.

Lip Swatch: ColourPop Lippie Stix Pitch

Ti avevo mostrato in questo post i miei primi acquisti ColourPop.

Tra i prodotti che ho acquistato non poteva mancare un Lippie Stix, il prodotto labbra più acquistato del brand.

Esistono diversi finish per i Lippie Stix: sheer, glossy, crème, pearlized, satin, matte, matte X.

Avrei voluto provarne almeno uno per tipo, ma mi sono dovuta limitare e mi sono orientata sul finish matte, che è quello che sto usando maggiormente in questo ultimo periodo.

Visto che siamo in inverno ho scelto Pitch, un color cioccolato, adoro le labbra scure e questo trend dei marroni mi riporta agli anni '90, quando cominciavo a sperimentare il make up!

La formula di tutti i Lippie Stix contiene vitamina E, mango, avocado e burro di karitè e proprio per questo sono molto confortevoli e non seccano le labbra.

La confezione è uno stilo bianco con la scritta olografica su un fianco, il colore del rossetto è ripreso nella parte posteriore, utile se si hanno diversi Lippie Stix.

Il finish opaco è molto confortevole, Pitch è molto pigmentato e già con la prima passata il colore risulta intenso.

La stesura è molto agevole grazie alla morbidezza del prodotto e alle dimensioni ridotte dello stilo che permettono di truccare perfettamente anche gli angoli.

La consistenza è morbida, sembra che si fonda sulle labbra.

La durata è molto buona, resiste per tutta la mia giornata lavorativa e, se ci sto attenta, rimane fissato anche durante i pasti.

Sicuramente è un prodotto che ricomprerei e alla prossima occasione proverò altri finish.

In this post I showed you my first ColourPop haul.

I bought a Lippie Stix too, the well known lip product of this brand.

There are different Lippie Stix finish: sheer, glossy, crème, pearlized, satin, matte, matte X.

I would try one for each finish but at the moment I ordered matte, that is my latest favorite finish.

I chose Pitch a chocolate brown that reminds me of 90's darken lips when I started experimenting make up!

Lippie Stix formula contains vitamin E, mango, avocado and shea butter and they are comfortable and don't dry lips.

The packing is a white stylo with holo brand name on it, the color of the lipstick is on the bottom of the packing. It is useful when you have more than one in your stash.

Matte finish is comfortable, Pitch is super pigmented and opaque at the first layer.

The texture is soft, it seems butter on lips.

The wearing time is good, it resists for all my working day and if I pay attention I can eat my meals too.

For sure it is a product I will buy again and I would love to try other finishes.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Red & Pink Hearts

Il tema per oggi per le 26 Great Nail Art Ideas è rosso e rosa.

Ho scelto uno smalto rosso con microglitter che possiedo dal mio primo viaggio in USA e che fa parte di una vecchia collezione natalizia OPI.

Ho creato un doppio accent laccando di bianco medio e anulare.

Ho applicato sopra dei nail sticker con piccoli brillantini con cuori rosa e neri. Purtroppo ho le unghie talmente corte che si vede a mala pena che sono cuori 😢

Ho fatto una passata di top coat per proteggere la nail art, sulle unghie con gli sticker ho fatto attenzione a sigillare bene la punta e tutti i lati per renderle impermeabili.

Today theme for 26 Great Nail Art Ideas is red and pink.

I chose a red microglitter polish that I bought during my first travel in the US and that is part of an old OPI Christmas collection.

I created a double accent in white.

I applyed over white nails some bling nail stickers with black and pink hearts.

Unfortunately my nails are so short in these days that you can barely see they are hearts 😢

I applyed a layer of top coat to protect my nail art, I carefully sealed the free edges and walls of the sticker nails.

Twinsie Tuesday: Winter Sea - Forgotten Favorite

Il tema proposto per oggi dal gruppo Twinsie Tuesday è di proporre un preferito che ci siamo dimenticate.

Purtroppo quando si possiedono tanti smalti accade spesso che si perdono di vista alcuni pezzi che magari si erano desiderati per tanto tempo.

Di solito tengo gli smalti che preferisco e che voglio usare sulla mia scrivania, solo dopo averli usati almeno una volta li ripongo in uno dei cassetti dei miei Helmer.

Ho acquistato e tenuto per qualche mese sulla mia scrivania Ariel's Tale di piCture pOlish, uno smalto che mi è davvero piaciuto a prima vista dato che è un glitter in base trasparente color turchese.
Ho approfittato quindi di questo tema per usarlo. Ariel's Tale di piCture pOlish è uno smalto che normalmente userei in estate per una nail art marina, ho deciso di usarlo per lo stesso tipo di manicure ma invernale!

Per creare il mio mare d'inverno ho scelto una base nera ad effetto gel e vi ho applicato due strati di Ariel's Tale di Picture Polish.

Today theme for Twinsie Tuesday girls is forgotten favorite.

When you own several nail polishes you can forget some of these even if you have desired for so long.

Usually I keep the polishes I prefer or that I need to use on  my desk, only after using them I store them in my Helmer's drawers.

I bought and then kept on my desk piCture pOlish Ariel's Tale for a few months and I really liked this polish at first sight because it's glitter and it's turquoise.

I took advantage of this prompt to use it.
piCture pOlish Ariel's Tale is a polish that I would wear in summer for some sea theme nail art. So I decided to to a winter sea manicure.

To do my winter sea I chose a gel effect black polish and I applyed two coats of piCture pOlish Ariel's Tale over it.

I stamped in white the under the sea scenery from Harunouta L-012 plate (you can find it at this link).

Make Up Haul: ColourPop

Durante il Black Friday mi sono data a un pò di spese, anche oltreoceano.

Era da tempo che volevo provare qualcosa di ColourPop e ho approfittato dell'offerta.

ColourPop è una ditta nata nel 2014 a Los Angeles che vende i propri prodotti esclusivamente tramite il suo sito.

La filosofia che c'è dietro è molto semplice: prodotti al passo con le mode a un piccolo prezzo.

Inoltre, ColourPop non testa i propri prodotti sugli animali.

Per fare una piccola ricognizione di un brand che non conosco ho scelto di prendere qualche ombretto di diversi finish e un paio di rossetti.

Comprando i set si risparmia qualche dollaro e le selezioni dei colori sono ben fatte, oltre a ricevere un astuccio per conservare gli ombretti.

Ho preso il set Mile High, con sei ombretti tra metallizzati, opachi e satinati, e il set Zingara, con quattro ombretti nei toni caldi del terracotta.

Li sto già provando e mi piacciono molto, resistono tutto il giorno e hanno una consistenza molto particolare.

Ho preso anche due rossetti, Toolips che fa parte della collezione Ultra Satin e Pitch, che è un classico Lippie Stix.

Li ho già provati e i colori mi piacciono molto, scuri e sul marrone, ora devo testarne la resistenza.

At Black Friday I did some overseas online shopping.

I wanted to try something from ColourPop and I took advantage of the offer.

ColourPop is an American brand born in Los Angeles in 2014 and it sells its products only through its on line shop.

I chose some eyeshadows in different finish and two lipsticks.

When you buy sets you can save money and you will receive a case for the eyeshadows too.

I bought Mile High set with six eyeshadows (metallic, satin and matte) and Zingara set with four
shadows in warm tones.

I'm testing them and I'm loving 'em, they last all day and have a soft texture.

I bought two lipsticks, Toolips that is an Ultra Satin and Pitch that is a classic Lippie Stix.

I tested them and I enjoyed the colors, dark and browny, now I have to test the wearing time.
