Throwback Thursday #18: Metallic Pink Snow Manicure

Some days ago I did this pink snow nail art and I thought it was my first time for pink snow.

I was so wrong!

Today I see that one year ago I did a pink snow manicure!

It was a darker style and I still love it with metallic pink snowflakes! I used a precious and lovely polish too as my base!

Qualche giorno fa ho realizzato questa nail art con la neve rosa e ho pensato che fosse la prima volta con la neve di quel colore.

Niente di più sbagliato!

Oggi ho visto che un anno fa avevo già fatto una manicure con la neve rosa!

Era molto più scura e ancora adoro i fiocchi di neve in rosa metallizzato! Avevo usato uno smalto prezioso e molto bello come base!

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Pink Snow with Reciprocal Gradient

Today theme for 26 Great Nail Art Ideas is reciprocal gradient.

This is a super cute technique but you have to take your time when doing this because of the double sponging.

Last time I have to do a reciprocal gradient for a challenge I kinda cheat! You can see my half try at this link.

Today I did always right, and I chose to do a stamped reciprocal gradient nail art.

In Italy this week end will be the first winter week end, with cold temperatures and the first snow. I celebrate this first snow with a pink snow manicure!

First of all I protected my cuticles with a latex barrier.

Then I started from a white base and I sponged the pink polish on tips.

For stamping I used the snowflakes pattern from Born Pretty BP-01 plate.

I directly applied pink and white stamping polish on the plate and scraped off. I stamped pink over white and vice versa.

I protected with a layer of top coat.

I love this manicure and I am so happy I can wait for the first snow to come with this on my nails!

Materials:

• Polishes: Kiko Perfect Gel 674 and 698
• Stamping polishes: Born Pretty white and pink
• Stamping plate: Born Pretty BP-01
• Liquid latex barrier: Born Pretty

Il tema di oggi per il gruppo 26 Great Nail Art Ideas è reciprocal gradient.

Questa tecnica è molto bella ma ha bisogno di tempo per via del doppio uso della spugnetta per creare il gradiente.

L'ultima volta che ho dovuto fare una manicure reciprocal gradient per un challenge ho un pò barato! Puoi vedere il mio mezzo tentativo a questo link.

Oggi ho fatto tutto per bene e ho deciso di fare una nail art reciprocal gradient con la tecnica dello stamping.

Visto che questo week end sarà il primo week end invernale, con temperature fredde e la prima neve ho voluto accoglierla con una manicure con fiocchi di neve rosa!

Per prima cosa ho protetto le cuticole con il lattice liquido.

Poi sono partita da una base bianca e ho applicato con la spugnetta lo s malto rosa sulle punte.

Per lo stamping ho usato la fantasia con i fiocchi di neve dal disco Born Pretty BP-01.

Ho applicato gli smalti per lo stamping affiancati sul disco e per mischiarli li ho semplicementi raschiati via. Ho stampato il rosa sul bianco e viceversa.

Ho protetto con uno strato di top coat.

Adoro questa manicure e sono felice di poterla indossare aspettando la prima neve della stagione!

Nail Crazies Unite: Flakie Leaves Manicure

This week theme for Nail Crazies Unite group is stamping with flakie polish base.
 

I am so lucky to own a Nubar 2010 bottle that is the ancestor of all flakie polishes and I used it in this  manicure.

I bought this polish seven years ago and the formula has not changed and it is still beautiful!

I layered it on Essie Angora Cardi and it gave it some orange glitz and shimmer.

Then I stamped in rose gold some random leaves from Born Pretty BP-19 plate.

I protected with a layer of top coat.

Materials:

• Nail polishes: Essie Angora Cardi and Nubar 2010
• Nail stamping polish: Essie Penny Talk 
• Nail stamping plate: Born Pretty BP-19
• stamper and scraper
• Top Coat: Seche Vite

Il tema di questa settimana per il gruppo Nail Crazies Unite è stamping con uno smalto di base flakie.

 

Sono così fortunata da possedere una bottiglietta di Nubar 2010 che è l'antenato di tutti gli smalti flakie e l'ho usato per questa  manicure.

Ho comprato questo smalto sette anni fa e la formula non è cambiata ed è ancora bellissimo!

Ne ho messo uno strato sopra Essie Angora Cardi e gli ha conferito dei bagliori arancioni. 

Poi ho stampato in rose gold alcune foglie dal disco Born Pretty BP-19.

Ho protetto con uno strato di top coat.

Esattamente un anno fa ho realizzato una nail art con un orso polare. Adoro quel tipo di smalto olografico e a volte li trovo scontatissimi. Penso di averlo pagato meno di due euro.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Animal Print in Turquoise

Today theme for 26 Great Nail Art Ideas group is animal print in wrong colors.

This is one of my most recurrent themes, I did leopard in black and gold and in hot pink.

This time I used one of my favorite colors, turquoise, for a superfun turquoise leopard manicure.

I started from a beautiful Essie polish as my base except for my ring finger.

 
I created a decal with spotted pattern in black and turquoise and I applied it on a light porcelain base only on my ringfingers.

The leopard print I used here come from Blueness 053 plate. I bought this on Aliexpress and it has four different sizes of spots.

I protected my manicure with a layer of top coat.

Il tema di oggi per il gruppo 26 Great Nail Art Ideas è stampe animalier nei colori sbagliati.

Questo è uno dei miei temi ricorrenti, in passato ho realizzato una manicure leopardo in nero e oro e una in fuchsia.

Questa volta ho usato uno dei miei colori preferiti, il turchese, per una divertentissima manicure leopardata. 

Sono partita da un bellissimo smalto Essie tralasciando l'anulare.

Ho creato uno sticker con una trama leopardata dal disco  Blueness 053. Ho comprato questo disco su Aliexpress e ha quattro diverse dimensioni di macchie di leopardo.

Ho protetto la mia manicure con uno strato di top coat.

Nail Crazies Unite: Neutral Fall Manicure

Today prompt for Nail Crazies Unite group is Neutral Colors.

 
I love to use this kind of colors in this season, I think thay paired perfectly with foliage colors.

I grabbed a polish that I bought last year. This a Kate Moss for Rimmel polish, a dusty beige, so chic to wear.

I chose a Nicole Diary water decals that matched and I applyed them on my middle and ring finger.

I love this manicure, I find it so appropriate for fall season and sometimes neutral colors could be a great choise for me too!

Il tema di oggi per il gruppo Nail Crazies Unite sono i colori neutri.

Mi piace molto usare questi colori in questa stagione, penso che si abbinino perfettamente ai colori delle foglie che cadono.

Ho preso uno smalto che ho comprato più di un anno fa. E' uno smalto della linea di Kate Moss per Rimmel, un beige chiaro molto chic sulle unghie.

Ho scelto delle decalcomanie ad acqua Nicole Diary che si abbinassero e le ho applicate su medio e anulare.

Adoro questa manicure, la trovo così appropriata per l'autunno e a volte i colori neutri sono una grande scelta anche per me!
