Winter Nail Art Challenge: New Year

On December 10. I gave birth to my baby boy, from that moment I haven't had a minute to think about my blog or my nails!

I wore bare nails for twenty days for the first time in past ten years I guess!

I haven't had the time to do a manicure for Christmas or for New Year Eve, so today I am showing you the mani I did last NYE.

Il 10 dicembre è nato il mio bambino, da quel momento non ho avuto un solo attimo per pensare al blog o alle unghie!

Per la prima volta in dieci anni ho avuto le unghie nude per venti giorni!

Winter Nail Art Challenge: Christmas Lights - Nail Challenges Collaborative: Winter/Christmas

Today prompt for Winter Nail Art Challenge is Christmas lights.

This is my third try at this theme, you can see my first Christmas lights nail art here and my second one here.

I didn't want to use for the third year the same plate, so I tried a Christmas sparkly ornaments nail art 😁.

For this nail art I used two polishes for my base, a porcelain nude and a sparkly green for the Christmas Tree.

On the porcelain nude I added an hint of sparkle with a holo glitter polish, then I stamped in gold the stars from MoYou London Festive Collection 01 plate.

On my index I added a little Merry Christmas in black from Harunouta L031 plate.

On my middle I stamped in gold over green some Christmas decorations and on my ringfinger I did a sticker with the silhouette of the tree.

I protect my nails with a layer of top coat.

Materials:

• Nail polishes: Zoya Ivanka, Pupa 110, China Glaze Snow Globe
• Stamping polish: Kiko 628
• Stamping plates: MoYou London Festive Collection 01, Harunouta L031
• Clear stamper and scraper: Born Pretty
• Top Coat: Seche Vite

Il tema di oggi per il Winter Nail Art Challenge è luci di Natale.

E' la terza volta che realizzo questo tema, puoi vedere la mia  prima nail art luci di Natale qui e la seconda qui.

Non volevo usare per il terzo anno di fila lo stesso disco , quindi ho provato una nail art con addobbi natalizi sbrilluccicanti 😁.

Per questa nail art ho usato due smalti per la mia base, un nudo porcellana e un verde brillante per l'albero di Natale.

Sulla base nude ho aggiunto un pò di paillettes con uno smalto con glitter holografici, poi ci ho stampato le stelle dal disco MoYou London Festive Collection 01.

Sull'indice ho aggiunto la scritta Merry Christmas in nero dal disco Harunouta L031.

Sul medio ho stampato in oro sopra  la base verde alcune decorazioni natalizie e sull'anulare ho creato uno sticker con la sagoma dell'albero.

Ho protetto tutto con una passata di top coat.

Throwback Thursday #19: Pastel Snowflakes Nail Art

Two years ago at this time of the year I was wearing one of my all times favourite manicure: my pastel snowflakes nail art.

It's just a simple manicure, a white base and a basic stamping but it came out so neat and pretty that I still love it!

Due anni fa in questo stesso periodo indossavo una delle mie nail art preferite di sempre: la mia nail art fiocchi di neve pastello.

In realtà è una nail art molto semplice, una base bianca e uno stamping veloce, ma venne fuori così bene che la adoro ancora oggi!

Winter Nail Art Challenge: Red & Green Christmas Carols - Nail Challenge Collaborative: Winter/Christmas

Today I have two challenges to do.

For Winter Nail Art Challenge group I have red and green prompt, and the monthly theme for Nail Challenge Collaborative is winter and Christmas.

 
I recently bought a pearly polish from last year China Glaze winter collection and really wanted to use it.

So my nail art is on a white pearly base with little red and green!

After my base I stamped in black some Christmas carols from MoYou London Festive 17 plate.
Then from the same plate I stamped in green the holly jolly just on a few nails.

I used my new clear stamper and this is a step ahead from all my clear stampers. I recommend this clear stamper, I bought it from Born Pretty Aliexpress Store that is cheaper than the shop itself.

I added three red rhinestones for each holly and top coated.

Oggi unisco due temi nella mia nail art.

Per il gruppo Winter Nail Art Challenge il tema è verde e rosso, mentre il tema mensile del gruppo Nail Challenge Collaborative è inverno e Natale.

Da poco ho comprato uno smalto perlato dalla collezione invernale China Glaze dello scorso anno e avevo proprio voglia di usarlo subito.

Così ho realizzato la mia nail art su base bianco perlato aggiungendo piccoli tocchi di verde e rosso!

Dopo aver steso la base ho stampato in nero alcuni canti di Natale dal disco MoYou London Festive 17.
Poi dallo stesso disco ho stampato in verde l'agrifoglio solo su alcune unghie.

Ho usato il mio nuovo stampino trasparente ed è davvero un passo avanti a tutti i miei altri stampini trasparenti. Ve lo consiglio se ne state cercando uno, io l'ho comparto nel negozio Born Pretty di Aliexpress, costa un pò meno rispetto al sito stesso.

Ho aggiunto tre cristalli rossi su ogni agrifoglio e ho protetto con il top coat.

Nail Crazies Unite: Frozen Inspired Nail Art - Winter Nail Art Challenge: Snow

Finally December has arrived and we can now do our beloved themes: Christmas and winter!

This period of the year is full of challenges and sometimes they are in the same day with slightly different prompt.

When I have a chance I always combine two prompts, I simply don't have much time left for nail art at this very time.

I am still pregnant and my due date was yesterday, so my baby boy is coming soon and I don't know if I could do my nail art or blogging for a few days.

Today I combined Nail Crazies Unite theme, Disney/Pixar inspired, with the first prompt of Winter Nail Art Challenge, snow.

For my nail art I used a base that I did some days ago, you can see it at this link. It was still perfect without any chipping after four days and I loved it so much that I hadn't the heart to remove it!

I simply added some water decals with Elsa from Frozen and topped with a new layer of top coat.

Finalmente dicembre è arrivato e possiamo scatenarci con i nostri temi preferiti: il Natale e l'inverno!

Questo periodo dell'anno è ricco di challenge e alcune volte ce ne sono più di uno nello stesso giorno con temi che si discostano di poco.

Quando è possibile cerco di combinare due temi semplicemente perchè ora come ora non ho troppo tempo da dedicare alla nail art.

Sono ancora incinta e ieri era la mia data presunta di parto, il mio bambino arriverà a breve e non so quanto riuscirò a star dietro alla nail art o al blog per diversi giorni.

Oggi ho combinato il tema del gruppo Nail Crazies Unite, ispirato Disney/Pixar, con il primo tema del Winter Nail Art Challenge, neve.

Per la mia nail art ho usato la base che ho realizzato qualche giorno fa, puoi vederla a questo link. Era ancora perfetta e senza scheggiature e mi piaceva così tanto che non ho avuto il cuore di rimuoverla!

Semplicemente ho aggiunto delle decalcomanie ad acqua con Elsa di Frozen e ho applicato un nuovo strato di top coat.
