Nail Art of the Day: Love Chevrons

June is almost over and I couldn't write as much as I would because I'm spending my time at the sea with my little boy.

He's almost seven months old and left my just a little time. 

Furthermore I have no internet connection in my beach house and blogging is a great pain.

I think I will only post some random nail arts and reviews, please forgive me and I promise I will be back regularly on September.

Today I am showing you a chevron nail art with a white accent.

I used a neon fuchsia as my base and I stamped some thin chevrons from Born Pretty Valentine's Plate BP-L002. You can find this plate at this link.

From the same plate I stamped on my accent the love word and the little heart, I used the double ended stamper for this little stamps, so easy to use. You can find it here but I will talk about it in  my next post.

Giugno è quasi finito e non sono riuscita a scrivere tanto quanto avrei voluto, la ragione è semplicemente che sono al mare con il mio bimbo.

Ha quasi sette mesi ora e mi lascia poco tempo libero.

Inoltre nella casa al mare non ho la connessione e scrivere post è una tortura.

Penso che riuscirò a scrivere solo qualche post per mostrare nail art o fare recensioni, me ne scuso e prometto che tornerò regolarmente a settembre.

Oggi ti mostro una nail art chevron con accent bianco.

Ho usato unosmalto neon fucsia come base e ho stampato la fantasia chevron dal disco Born Pretty Valentine's Plate BP-L002. Puoi trovare questo disco a questo link.

Dallo stesso disco ho stampato sull'accent la parola amore e il cuoricino, per queste stampe piccole ho usato lo stampino con due punte, facilissimo da usare.

Nail Art Tutorial: Double Stamping

Since my first son is born doing my nail art is hard, I have spare time when he takes a nap, sometimes half an hour or when I am lucky an entire hour.

I can't predict how much time I will have, so I have to do fast nail art!

I haven't tried double stamping before and it seemed to be quick enough.

For double stamping you need a clear silicone stamper, I've bought several clear stampers and I am always using them.

In double stamping you have to stamp a first time in a color, usually white, then you have to print again the same image in a different color almost covering the first stamp.

It creates a shadowed effect.

For this technique I used a flamingo pattern from Born Pretty BP-L076 plate, it was given from company and you can find it at this link.

Nail Art Tutorial: Double Stamping

Step 1: I apply a neon lime green polish

Step 2: I protect my cuticles with liquid latex barrier 

Step 3: I stamp in white                                    Step 4: I stamp again in pink almost over the first stamp

Da quando è nato mio figlio fare una nail art significa rubare tempo mentre lui fa un sonnellino, a volte ho solo una mezz'oretta, quando sono fortunata ne ho una intera. Non posso mai saperlo prima però, quindi è diventato essenziale fare nail art veloci!

Era da un pò che non provavo nuove tecniche di stamping, e il double stamping mi è sembrato abbastanza veloce da realizzare.

Per realizzare il double stamping è necessario avere uno dei nuovi timbri in silicone trasparente, io ne ho comprati diversi e devo dire che li sto usando praticamente sempre.

Nella tecnica del double stamping si stampa una prima volta con un colore, solitamente il bianco, poi si stampa la stessa immagine con un colore diverso quasi sopra, così si crea un effetto ombreggiato.

Visto che la stagione estiva è arrivata, ho scelto di usare questa tecnica con una fantasia di fenicotteri dal disco Born Pretty BP-L076, mi è stato fornito dalla ditta direttamente e lo puoi trovare a questo link.

Nail Art Tutorial: Double Stamping

Step 1: applico uno smalto verde lime neon

Step 2: proteggo le cuticole con il lattice liquido

Step 3: stampo l'immagine in bianco

Step 4: stampo l'immagine in rosa quasi sopra la prima stampa

Nail Crazies Unite: Inspired by a TV Show - Game of Thrones Manicure

Today theme for Nail Crazies Unite group is inspired by a TV show.

I was thinking about a scales nail art since my dark mermaid mani (click on this link to see it) and this prompt was perfect.

I used Daenerys' dragons as my inspiration, GoT is a must see serial!

I started with a black base, then I layered  Born Pretty Mars in a single coat.

I used a gold holo polish to stamp an irregular pattern from Qgirl-041 plate.

I sealed with a layer of top coat.
