Throwback Thursday #40: Pink Snowflakes

Last year I did a manicure that I am still in love with.

It as snowflakes that I adore and it is pink.

Othermore it is a reciprocal gradient, it was my first attempt at this technique and I loved the result.

Nail Crazies Unite: Fall Foliage Nail Art

Today theme for Nail Crazies Unite group is trees or fall foliage.

This is a favourite theme for me in autumn, you can see some other fall foliage manicure at this link, here and here.

For my base I used a brand new polish from OPI Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Black to Reality, a blackened deep red.

I stamped some leaves from Born Pretty BP-30 plate with a metal copper stamping polish, I don't know the number, sorry, I bought this maybe one year ago.

Then I added a layer of top coat for extra shine.

Materials: 

• Nail polish: OPI Black To Reality
• Nail stamping plate: Born Pretty BP-30
• Nail stamping polish: Born Pretty copper
• Stamper and scraper: Born Pretty
• Top Coat: Seche Vite

Nail Crazies Unite: Lavender Plaid Nails

Today theme for Nail Crazies Unite group is plaid.

Plaid is a favourite pattern in this season, as you can see in the past years I did a red plaid, a pink plaid and a blue plaid.

This time I decided to do a pale lavender tartan with purple and white stamping polish.

I picked my pattern from Born Pretty BPL-041 plate.

I used two coats of top coat because my base color was a leather effect polish and I like shiny manicure best.

Materials:

• Nail polish: Essie Cross-Body Heat
• Stamping polishes: Born Pretty #14 and white
• Stamping plate: Born Pretty BPL-041 
• stamper and scraper: Born Pretty
