Nail Art of the Day: Angel Manicure for #31DC2015 Day 29 Supernatural

Per il tema sovrannaturale del ventinovesimo giorno del 31 Day Challenge 2015 non volevo rappresentare i soliti fantasmini ma ho pensato a un angelo etereo e femminile.

Ho pensato a una base bianca come le candide ali, ho aggiunto una spruzzata di glitter e l'immancabile accent sull'anulare.



Dopo aver fatto asciugare la base bianca con la spugnetta ho applicato sulle punte lo smalto glitter azzurro, per gli anulare invece l'ho applicato alla base.

Con la tecnica del nail stamping ho disegnato sull'anulare una delicata piuma in azzurro dal disco Konad m77, di questo disco ho usato almento una volta tutte le immagini, è uno dei più vecchi che ho ma mi piace sempre molto. Ho protetto tutto con una passata di top coat.

Today prompt for Day 29 of 31 Day Challenge 2015 I didn't want to show the classical ghost but an ethereal and feminine angel.

I used a white base as its snow-white wings, I added a hint of glitter and my accent on ringfinger.

I applyed the glitter polish on the tip with a spong and for ringfingers I applyed it on the base.

 With the nail stamping I did a delicate blue feather from Konad m77 plate. I used all the images on this plate at least one time and it's one of the older that I own.

I protect the manicure with a layer of top coat.

Twinsie Tuesday: Vampy Manicure

Il tema per questa settimana che abbiamo scelto nel gruppo Twinsie Tuesday sono le unghie vampy, ho pensato subito a una femme fatale con unghie rosse e calze a rete!

La nail art di oggi è un misto di nail art che volevo provare da tempo: la negative space con lo stamping e l'effetto calza con il top coat nero.

Per la negative space mi è bastato applicare la base e stampare direttamente con lo smalto speciale nero. Ho applicato una passata di top coat per lucidare. Il risultato è molto pulito ma sinceramente non mi piace tantissimo che si veda così tanta unghia nuda sotto!

Per lo stamping ho usato il disco MoYou London Bridal Collection 07, ce l'ho dallo scorso anno ed è uno dei più usati quando si tratta di stampare pizzo!

Ho quindi applicato due strati di Rock top coat di una vecchia collezione Essence per raggiungere l'effetto calza di pizzo e devo dire che così glossato il look mi è piaciuto molto di più.

This week prompt for Twinsie Tuesday is vampy and I thought about red polish and fishnet stockings!

For today nail art I mixed two nail art I would have done before: negative space with stamping and sheer black look.

For negative space I applyed the base and stamped directly with the black polish. I applyed a layer of clear top coat to add shine. Actually I did not like this manicure because it is showing too much nail!

I used the MoYou London Bridal Collection 07 plate. I own this plate since a year and it is the most used when I must stamp lace!

Then I applyed two layers of rock top coat from an old Essence limited edition for the sheer black look. I liked this glossy style more.

Nail Art of the Day: Italian Flag for #31DC2015 Day 28 Inspired by a Flag

Il tema per il ventottesimo giorno del 31 Day Challenge 2015 è una nail art ispirata a una bandiera e a quale potevo ispirarmi se non a quella italiana?

Per una volta ho abbandonato i miei amati stampini, solo smalti glitter e un pò di nastro adesivo sono il materiale per questa manicure.

Dopo aver applicato una base bianca lattiginosa ho fatto una passata di Nubar White Polka Dot, un fantastico smalto con glitter bianchi. Obbligatorio il passaggio di top coat ad asciugatura rapida prima di applicare il nastro adesivo!

Ho applicato il nastro adesivo diagonalmente e poi lo smalto verde e quello rosso ai lati, ho rimosso lo scotch prima che fossero asciutti. Con un'altra passata di top coat ho livellato la superficie delle unghie.

The prompt for Day 28 of 31 Day Challenge 2015 is inspired by a flag and I took inspiration from Italian flag of course!

This time I abandoned my beloved stamping for glitter polishes and regular tape.

After applying a milky white base I applyed a layer of Nubar White Polka Dot, a beautiful white glitter polish.
Mandatory a layer of fast dry top coat before applying tape!

I applyed the tape diagonally and I polish the edges with red and green polishes. I removed the tape before polishes were dryed.
I apply another layer of top coat to even out the nails

Nail Art of the Day: Chinoiserie for #31DC2015 Day 27 Artwork

Le porcellane cinesi sono manufatti dell'estremo oriente che provengono da tempi lontanissimi, si cominciarono a decorare porcellane con ossido di cobalto già nel IX secolo. Sono famosi i vasi della dinastia Ming e da questi ho tratto ispirazione per la nail art di oggi.

Il tema del ventisettesimo giorno del 31 Day Challenge 2015 è infatti un'opera d'arte e ho pensato alle porcellane blu cinesi, visto che cinque anni fa questa è stata una delle mie primissime nail art. Avevo ancora alcune decalcomanie dello stesso set e ho deciso di usarle.

La nail art è stata facilissima e veloce da realizzare, dopo aver applicato due passate di smalto bianco laccato ho applicato le decalcomanie sulle unghie facendo attenzione a posizionarle diversamente su ogni unghia.

Ho passato il top coat per proteggere la manicure.

The prompt for Day 27 of 31 Day Challenge 2015 is artwork and I thought about blue china, since it was one of my very first nail art I did five years ago. I left some waterdecals I used that time and I decided to use them.

This nail art was super easy and quick to do. After two coats of a white creme polish I applyed the waterdecals on my nails in different directions.

I applyed top coat to protect my manicure.

Nail Art of the Day: Check nail art for #31DC2015 Day 26 Inspired by a pattern

Le ispirazioni per le mie nail art vengono spesso dai miei accessori e capi di abbigliamento, fantasie che mi hanno spinta ad acquistare dei capi mi piacciono così tanto da volerle riprodurre sulle unghie.

Il tema del ventiseiesimo giorno del 31 Day Challenge 2015 è ispirato da una fantasia e ho scelto questa sciarpa che ho dallo scorso anno: un bel punto di rosso con il classico motivo plaid in nero e delle stelline sparse.

Sono partita da una base rosso laccato e, dopo aver stampato il motivo a scacchi, ho applicato una stellina.

Il motivo a scacchi è preso dal disco MoYou London Fairy Collection 13, bellissimo da vedere ma con alcuni motivi in dimensioni troppo ridotti perfino per le mie unghiette :(

The prompt for Day 26 of #31DC2015 is inspired by a pattern and I choose this scarf that I own from last year. It's in apple red with the traditional black check and some random stars.

I applyed a red creme base and, after stamping the pattern, I applyed a black star stud.

I took the check pattern from the MoYou London Fairy Collection 13, beautiful to see but with some pattern too small to fit my nails :(

Nail Art of the Day: OPS Pied de Poule for #31DC2015 Day 25 Inspired by Fashion

Abbinare le nail art ai miei accessori o vestiti è una delle mie passioni, mi piace stupire amici e amiche con accostamenti mimetici, puoi vederli a questo link.

Per la venticinquesima nail art del 31 Day Challenge 2015 il tema è proprio ispirarsi alla moda e ho scelto questo bracciale OPS!Objects della collezione Pied de Poule che mi ha regalato lo scorso anno mio marito.

Il bracciale ha le maglie nere e il cuore pendente è il tradizionale bianco e nero, lo uso tantissimo, in inverno specialmente, il pied de poule è una delle mie fantasie preferite per questa stagione!

 Ho applicato lo smalto laccato nero su tutte le unghie e ho creato lo sticker (qui il tutorial) stampando l'immagine del pied de poule dal disco Konad m63 e ritagliandola con le forbicinea forma di cuore.

The prompt for Day 25 of 31 Day Challenge 2015 is inspired by fashion and I choose this bracelet from OPS!Objects Pied de Poule Collection that my hubby gave me last year.

The bracelet has black link and a heart pendant in black and white. I wear it a lot in winter because houndstooth is one of my favourite pattern for this season!

I applyed a black cream polish and I created a DIY stickers (here the tutorial) with full nail image on Konad m63 plate cut in a heart shape.

Easy, quick and matching!

Nail Art of the Day: Midsummer Night 's Dream for #31DC2015 Day 24 inspired by a book

La sfida per la nail art del giorno 24 del 31Day Challenge 2015 riguarda una manicure ispirata a un libro.

Il tema mi aveva già stuzzicata e infatti avevo realizzato questa nail art in primavera, per completare quella che ti avevo mostrato qui.

Alla fine però scelsi di pubblicare solo i fiorellini senza l'ultima stampa e queste foto sono rimaste per qualche mese nel mio hard disk.

Oggi quindi è il giorno giusto per mostrarti la mia Titania, ovvero la regina delle fate di Sogno di una notte di mezzaestate di William Shakespeare.


Da brava anglista nei miei giorni universitari non ho tralasciato lo studio di questa divertente commedia del bardo e mi è piaciuto molto trasportarla nella mia passione attuale, la nail art.

Per la base a fiorellini ho usato il disco MoYou London Mother Nature Collection 11, che ha anche delle bellissime rose e sicuramente dovrei usare di più.

Poi ho realizzato uno sticker fai da te con lo stamping con il disco Konad m35 e l'ho applicato sull'anulare.

Today prompt for #31DC2015 Day 24 is inspired by a book.

I realized this nail art last spring when I did this manicure here.

I ended up in publishing just the floral manicure leaving these pics in my hard disk.

Today is the right day to show you my Titania, the Fairy Queen in Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.

As an anglicist I studyed this funny comedy from the bard and I really enjoyed to transpose it in my current passion: the nail art.

For the flowers I used the MoYou London Mother Nature Collection 11plate.

Then I realized a DIY sticker with the Konad m35 plate and I applyed it on my ringfinger.
