Winter Nail Art Challenge: New Year's Eve feat. Pupa Golden Plumage

L'ultimo post dell'anno non poteva che essere una nail art, l'ultima del 2015.

Con questa nail art si conclude anche il Winter Nail Art Challenge che mi ha tenuto compagnia in questo mese, e il tema non poteva che essere Capodanno.

Per me Capodanno vuole dire abbinamento oro e nero e soprattutto glitter!

Invece che usare i soliti smalti glitter ho scelto Pupa Golden Plumage della collezione natalizia 2015, te lo avevo mostrato appena comprato qui, un flitter oro su base trasparente.

Appena ho comprato questo smalto ho subito deciso che sarebbe stato la base per una manicure delle feste, ed eccolo oggi agghindato per festeggiare il nuovo anno!

Per lo stamping ho usato il mio nuovo disco MoYou London Festive Collection 39.

Con lo smalto speciale nero ho stampato i primi tre disegni su indice, medio e anulare, sul mignolo ho usato la scritta più piccola del disco per ripetere l'augurio.

Ho applicato il top coat in doppio strato per rendere liscia ed omogenea la superficie delle unghie.

Felice 2016 e a domani per scoprire la mia nail art di inizio anno!

The last post of the year must be a nail art, last nail art of 2015.

This nail art is the last of the Winter Nail Art Challenge and the prompt was New Year's Eve.

To me New Year's Eve means gold and black and glitter everywhere!

Instead that a regular glitter polish I used Pupa Golden Plumage from Christmas 2015 collection, I show you this beauty here, it is a gold flitter in clear base.

When I bought this polish I decided it would have been my holiday manicure base and you can see it today to celebrate the new year!

For the nail stamping I used my MoYou London Festive Collection 39 plate.

I stamped with the black polish the first three designs on index, middle and ringfinger. On my pinky I used the tiny words.

I applyed two layers of top coat to level the nail surface.

Novità: MoYou London Festive 39 - il mio disco stamping di Capodanno

Ogni anno per il mio compleanno mi regalo qualche disco per nail stamping di MoYou London, di solito durante l'anno prendo nota dei dischi più interessanti e a dicembre aspetto il mio pacchetto dall'Inghilterra.

Essendo nata sotto il periodo delle feste natalizie ho il vantaggio di poter prendere al volo i dischi nuovi della collezione Festive che è una delle mie preferite!


Quando ho visto in anteprima il disco 39 tutto dedicato al Capodanno ho voluto subito prenderlo, avevo già un altro disco tematico per questa festa ma non ero soddisfatta del tutto.

Il disco MoYou London Festive 39 ha due serie di disegni da stampare su tre unghie, ben sei frasi di auguri e altri sei disegni a tutta unghia, di cui amo le stelline così piccole a cascata!

Ho già usato questo disco per la mia prima nail art di Capodanno che pubblicherò domani, spero di riuscire a farne un'altra prima che l'anno finisca!

Every year for my birthday I give myself some nail stamping plate from MoYou London. During the year I take note of plates I like and in December I wait for my delivery from UK.

Since my birthday is during holiday season I can add some new festive collection plate.

When I saw the preview of plate 39 that has all New Year's Eve designs I knew I wanted it, despite I owned already another NYE themed plate.

MoYou London Festive 39 has two sets for three nails designs, six NYE wishes and six full nail designs, I love the tiny stars fall!

I used this plate for my first New Year's Eve manicure that I will edit tomorrow morning, I hope to do another one before this year will be over!

Make Up Tutorial: Coffee Smoked feat. Nars Mekong

Durante il mio viaggio di nozze in USA sono entrata quasi quotidianamente in un Sephora store e  ogni giorno ne sono uscita con un pacchetto tra le mani, ho voluto portare a casa qualcosa di case cosmetiche che nella mia città non riesco a trovare.

Nonostante io compri molto dai vari negozi on line, poter vedere e provare di persona prima di acquistare è sempre utile e a prova di errori.

Per Nars ho acquistato l'ombretto Mekong, un marrone caffè con tanti microglitter. Ero molto entusiasta quando l'ho comprato ma poi ho trovato difficile rendere il colore che vedevo nella confezione e l'ho abbandonato per diversi mesi fino a che non ho avuto l'idea di applicare Mekong su base nera.

Applicato in questo modo, Mekong riacquista tutta la sua intensità e anche i microglitter sono più visibili, quindi se anche tu hai abbandonato un ombretto perchè non rende quanto ti saresti aspettata dai un'occhiata a questo tutorial e vedi se riesci a farlo funzionare!

Step 1: dopo aver applicato la base nude con il pennello da sfumatura applico nella piega il marrone medio opaco e sotto l'arcata il beige chiarissimo











Step 2: intensifico la piega con Barlust













Step 3: applico la matita sulla palpebra mobile














Step 4: con un pennello piatto applico Mekong sopra la base nera sfumandolo verso la piega













Step 5: applico la matita nera alla base delle ciglia












Step 6: per la parte inferiore applico la matita nera a la sfumo con Mekong, applico il mascara

During my honeymoon in USA I bought some make up that is hard to find in my city. I buy a lot from e-shop but I love try and feel new product in reality before purchasing.

I bought Nars Mekong, a coffee brown eyeshadow with microglitter but I couldn't apply it the same way I see in the box. Then I tryed it over a black base and it was so intense!

Step 1:after applying a nude base I apply the matte medium brown in the crease and the light beige over the brow bone

Step 2: I intensify the crease with Barlust

Step 3: I apply the black eyepencil on the lid

Step 4: with a flat brush I apply Mekong over the black base and I blend toward the crease

Step 5: I apply the black eyepencil at the base of my lashes

Step 6: at the bottom I apply the black pencil and I blend it with Mekong, I apply the mascara

Winter Nail Art Challenge: Christmas Tinsel

Il tema di oggi del Winter Nail Art Challenge sono le decorazioni natalizie.

Ho deciso di fare una manicure abbinata alle decorazioni del mio albero di Natale: palline, rose e fiocchi di neve bianco e tiffany!

Ho scelto dei colori inusuali per gli addobbi natalizi, ma ormai ero stufa del solito bianco e rosa e il verde tiffany è un pò diventato il 'mio' colore da quando l'ho scelto per il mio matrimonio.

Come base ho applicato uno smalto Morgan Taylor, il primo che possiedo di questa ditta, fa parte della collezione dedicata al film 'Cinderella' è un bell'azzurro/verde acqua con riflessi dorati e si chiama Party at the Palace.

Dal disco MoYou London Festive Collection 08 ho stampato tre diversi fiocchi di neve posizionandoli in punti diversi delle unghie.

Ho messo qualche goccia di smalto trasparente con glitter verde acqua sul retro del disco e con il dotter ho prelevato i glitter singolarmente e li ho applicati a piacimento.

Ho protetto la decorazione con una passata di top coat.

Today prompt for Winter Nail Art Challenge is Christmas Tinsel.

I decided to match my manicure to my Christmas tree ornaments: balls, roses and snowflakes in white and tiffany!

I choose unusual colors for my Christmas tinsel but I got enough of white and pink and tiffany became 'my' color since it was my wedding theme color.

As my base I applyed a Morgan Taylor polish, this is the first one I bought from this brand.

It is part of the 'Cinderella' collection and it's a pale blue/aqua green with golden shades and it is called Party at the Palace.

From the  MoYou London Festive Collection 08 plate I stamped the three snowflakes in different position.

I apply some drops of a glitter jelly clear polish on the back of the plate and with the dotting tool I applyed each glitter on to the nails.

I protected my manicure with a layer of top coat.

Twinsie Tuesday: Holiday Special - Christmas Carol

Per lo speciale di Natale del gruppo Twinsie Tuesday sono totalmente in ritardo!

Tra il mio compleanno e il Winter Nail Art Challenge le nail art si sono accavallate e veramente ho rischiato di presentarmi al pranzo di Natale con la manicure da rifare!

Per lo speciale di Natale ho deciso di pubblicare la mia nail art natalizia dello scorso anno, in attesa di mostrare la mia scelta fuori dall'ordinario per il 2015!

Come base ho usato uno smalto semipermanente color oro, reso ancor più brillante da un top coat glitter.

Sopra ho stampato in nero i testi dei canti di Natale e l'angioletto dal disco MoYou London Festive Collection 17.

Per le altre unghie invece ho scelto dal disco Konad m73 le note musicali.

Per completare tutto ho applicato con il top coat un cuoricino rosso.

I'm late for the Holiday Special of Twinsie Tuesday Group!

This week I've had my birthday and some manicure for Winter Nail Art Challenge to do and I am really likely to go to Christmas lunch with no manicure at all!

So for this special I decided to publish last year Christmas manicure, waiting for showing the 2015 one!

As my base I used a gold gel polish with some gold glitter on top.

Then I stamped in black the Christmas Carol lyrics and the angel from MoYou London Festive Collection 17 plate.

 For the rest of my nails I chose the notes from Konad m73 plate.

To complete my nail art I applyed a tiny red heart with some top coat.

Winter Nail Art Challenge: Santa's Suit

E' da tanto che ho in mente la mia nail art di Natale e finalmente è arrivato il momento di sfoggiarla: il vestito di Babbo Natale tridimensionale con 'vera pelliccia'!

Ho realizzato questo effetto con la polvere velluto bianca, tanto di moda un paio di anni fa.

Per arricchire la manicure di particolari ho aggiunto con la tecnica reverse stamping la cintura nera con dettagli oro presa da disco Konad m9.

Come base ho usato uno smalto rosso Color Club super glitteroso, Ruby Slippers, un grande classico per Natale.

I have had in mind my Christmas nail art for months and finally it's time to show it: the 3D Santa's suit with 'genuine fur'!

I did the fur effect with white velvet powder that was the nail trend two years ago. 

To enhance it with details I added a black and gold belt with the reverse stamping technique from the Konad m9 plate.
 
As my base I used a red glitter polish from Color Club, Ruby Slippers is a classic Christmas polish.

Per me truccarmi per le feste vuol dire scintillare, quindi per me la parola d'ordine è una sola GLITTER!

I glitter possono essere i nostri migliori alleati nei make up delle feste, se impariamo a gestirli (cioè a non spargerli ovunque!) possiamo fare dei make up velocissimi come questo!

Step 4: applico l'eyeliner in crema nella rima inferiore, applico il mascara
