ABC Challenge: H&M Pink (Minnie) Mouse

Con l'ABC Challenge sto usando per la prima volta smalti acquistati negli anni passati e lasciati nei cassetti dei miei Helmer senza una specifica ragione, è un bellissimo modo per riscoprire colori ormai dimenticati.

Quando qualche anno fa uscì la collezione Minnie Mouse da H&M acquistai entrambi gli smalti, uno l'ho usato per questa manicure, l'altro è rimasto nel cassetto...fino ad ora!

Pink Mouse è un rosa laccato superlucido, mi piace questo colore per la primavera e l'estate, per me è il classico colore da bambola.



Il packing così carino con Minnie impressa mi ispira solo una nail art abbinata, ho tirato fuori le mie waterdecal con i cartoni e mi sono messa all'opera. Queste waterdecal le ho prese su Aliexpress pagandole pochi centesimi, si trovano con tantissimi soggetti.

Mi piace tantissimo fare nail art con le decalcomanie, sono veloci e facilissime da usare e il risultato è sempre molto ben definito.


Ho aggiunto un tocco di glitter in gradazione di rosa per dare luce alla mia skittle manicure (un decoro diverso su ogni unghia).

Una passata di top coat ha protetto la mia nail art.

Thank to ABC Challenge I'm using some polishes I bought years ago and never used. I think this is a coll way to see again forgotten polishes.

Some years ago H&M releases a Minnie Mouse collection, I bought both polishes and I used one for this manicure, the other polish was abandoned in my Helmer until now!

Pink Mouse is a supershiny pink créme, I like this color for spring and summer, it is the perfect doll color.

The packing is so cute that it inspired me a matching nail art. I took my cartoon waterdecals that I bought on Aliexpress for just a few cents.

I really love to do waterdecals nail art, it's quick and easy and the payoff is super.

I added a pinch of pink glitter to enlight my skittle mani.

I did a layer of top coat to protect my nail art.

Make Up Tutorial: Antique Gold Reflects

Nell'ultimo periodo non ho tempo/voglia di fare trucchi troppo elaborati, ma voglio comunque uscire di casa più carina di come mi sveglio!

Quindi cerco di ottimizzare i tempi con make up veloci ma ad alta resa.

Per aiutarmi nell'effetto 'scenico' uso i glitter (che vanno sempre bene!) e uno dei miei pigmenti preferiti di Mac: Reflects Antique Gold.

Materiali usati:
 
  • Base: Too Faced Lock Down in Drama Rama, Essence Jumbo pencil
  • Ombretti: dalla palette AuNaturel di Sleek Mineral Earth, Bark, Cappuccino, Mac Pigment Reflects Antique Gold
  • Eyeliner: Mac Fluidline in Avenue, Sleek Glitter Eyeliner in Hollywood
  • Mascara: Cover Girl Lash Blast

Make Up Tutorial: Antique Gold Reflects

Step 1: applico la base trasparente su tutta la palpebra, poi solo sulla parte mobile il matitone marrone chiaro. Applico sopra la base di matita l'ombretto marrone shimmer










Step 2: Sfumo gli angoli con il marrone opaco medio e poi applico l'ombretto più chiaro sotto l'arcata












Step 3: applico l'eyeliner marrone














Step 4: sulla palpebra mobile applico l'eyeliner glitter













Step 5: prima che l'eyeliner in glitter asciughi vi applico con un pennellino il pigmento dorato












Step 6: per la parte inferiore applico sia all'interno che all'esterno l'eyeliner marrone, lo fisso e lo sfumo con l'mbretto marrone shimmer. Applico il mascara

Lately, I do not have time/will to do complicated make up, but I still want go out cuter than I look when I wake up in the morning!

So I try to shorten my make up time with easy but with high pay off make up.

To help this trick I use glitter and one of my favourite pigment from Mac: Reflects Antique Gold.

Materials:

  • Base: Too Faced Lock Down in Drama Rama, Essence Jumbo pencil

Make Up Tutorial: Antique Gold Reflects

Step 1: I apply the clear base on my lid, then I apply the light brown jumbo pencil. I apply the shimmer brown eyeshadow

Step 2: I blend the edges with matt brown eyeshadow, then I apply the lightest beige to the browbone

Step 3: I apply the brown eyeliner

Step 4: I apply on the lid the glitter eyeliner

Step 5: before the glitter eyeliner dryes I apply the gold pigment with a little brush

Step 6: for the lower lashline I apply the brown eyeliner, I fix it and blend it with the shimmer brown eyeshadow. I apply mascara

ABC Challenge: Gold Caramel by Mi-ny

Sono rimasta indietro di qualche giorno ma ecco comparire anche la mia G per l'ABC Challenge.

Per la lettera G del mio alfabeto degli smalti comprati e non ancora usati ho dovuto scegliere tra diversi smalti.


Il prescelto è stato Gold Caramel di Mi-ny un oro freddo dal finish sabbiato.

Ho acquistato questo smalto pensando di usarlo per una nail art a tema marino, però non era la stagione adatta e quindi è finito nel cassetto del mio Helmer fino alla prossima estate.

E' un vero peccato perchè Gold Caramel meritava davvero di essere usato, non solo in estate!


Per movimentare un pò la mia manicure ho fatto un'accent con uno smalto nero laccato di Layla e ci ho applicato sopra una waterdecal dorata.

Ho applicato il top coat solo sull'anulare lasciando sul resto delle unghie l'effetto sabbia che tanto mi piace!

I'm late on my schedule for ABC Challenge but this is my G polish.

For the letter G I must chose among several unsed polishes, my choise was Gold Caramel by Mi-ny, an Italian brand.

I bought this polish with the idea of a marine nail art but it was out of season and I abandoned it in my Helmer drawer until next summer.

It was a shame beacause Gold Caramel is woth wearing in winter too!

Gold Caramel is a cool gold with sand finish, I am a big fan of this textured effect.

I change my plain manicure a bit with a simple black accent with a crème polish by Layla and I applyed a gold waterdecal on it.

I applyed top coat only on my ringfinger in order to maintain the sand effect that I love!

Twinsie Tuesday: Studs and Tiffany Waves on Gel Polish

Il tema che ci siamo date questa settimana nel gruppo Twinsie è unghie decorate con borchie o decorazioni varie.

Io adoro le borchiette da applicare sulle manicure, ne ho di diverse dimensioni e colori, comprese quelle neon e quelle in tinte pastello, ma le mie preferite rimangono sempre quelle dorate.


Nella nail art di oggi le ho abbinate al mio smalto semipermanente preferito, te lo avevo mostrato anche qui, è l'americano NSI Polish PRO Poolside.

Come accent ho stampato in oro le onde dal disco MoYou London Sailor Collection 04 e ho sigillato con il top coat semipermanente.


Per fissare le borchiette le ho applicate sullo strato di top coat semipermanente prima di catalizzare in lampada LED.

This week theme for Twinsie Tuesday is studs or embellishments.

I love studs, I own them in several dimensions and colors, included neon ones and pastel ones. But I always prefer gold studs.

In today nail art I matched gold studs with my favourite gel polish: NSI Polish PRO Poolside that I showed you here.

As my accent I stamped in gold the waves from the MoYou London Sailor Collection 04 plate and I topped with a layer of clear gel.

To fix the studs I applyed them on gel top coat before I catalyzed in LED lamp.

HPB Presents: Teal Mandala Manicure

Il tema per questo mese del gruppo Hobby Polish Bloggers è il primo smalto indie comprato. Con indie si intende di una ditta indipendente che non faccia parte delle case cosmetiche tradizionali.

Il primo smalto indie che è entrato in mio possesso è Galahad di A-england, un piccolo brand inglese famoso per i suoi smalti olografici, ti avevo già mostrato una nail art con questo smalto qui.


Usare Galahad nuovamente è stato un piacere, è un petrolio laccato che asciuga lucidissimo, proprio il genere di colore che amo indossare!

Ho deciso di giocare un pò con la tecnica del reverse stamping e di creare degli adesivi tipo mandala indiani in bianco e nero.


Ho usato il disco Born Pretty Store BP-48 che ha un arabesco molto grande da cui si può selezionare la parte del disegno più interessante.


Il risultato mi è piaciuto molto e voglio assolutamente replicare questa nail art con altri colori!

This month theme for Hobby Polish Bloggers group is first indie purchased.

With the word indie is intended a non mainstream brand.

My first indie polish is Galahad from A-england, a british indie brand that is famous for its holo polishes.

I showed you here my first mani using Galahad.

Using again Galahad was a pleasure, this super shiny teal crème is my kind of color!

I choose to play with reverse stamping technique and I created some mandala stickers in black and white.

I used Born Pretty Store BP-48 plate that has a huge arabesque useful to select your favourite part of image.

I really enjoyed the final result and I'd love to do this nail art again with different colors!

ABC Challenge: Faint of Heart by Orly stamped

Appena mi è stata regalato ho subito desiderato fare una nail art abbinata alla mia sottoveste grigia con i cuoricini.

Però, come forse saprai da questo post, gli smalti grigi non sono del colore che preferisco indossare ed è per questo che ne possiedo pochissimi e che li indosso raramente.


Grazie all'ABC Challenge ho modo di usare smalti dimenticati o semplicemente di tonalità che non amo ma che meritano lo stesso 'un giro' sulle mie unghie (visto che li ho comprati!).

Da abbinare alla mia sottoveste romantica ho trovato Faint at Heart della collezione Cool Romance della primavera 2012 di Orly. Devo dire che una volta indossato mi è piaciuta molto questa tonalità di grigio tortora, elegante e 'da adulta'.


Dopo aver applicato tre passate di Faint at Heart (volevo una copertura totale delle mie unghie) ho stampato in bianco dal disco Bundle Monster BM-401 i cuoricini singoli alla base delle unghie. E' stato facilissimo posizionare i cuoricini al centro grazie al mio nuovo stampino trasparente, ha risolto tutti i miei problemi di 'centratura' delle immagini.

Poi ho scelto l'immagine a tutta unghia dei cuoricini dal disco MoYou London 20 Festive Collection e l'ho modificata come volevo (eliminando i cuoricini vuoti) con un bastoncino di legno prima di stampare l'anulare.

Ho fatto una passata di top coat per proteggere tutto.

When I received my grey nightshirt I craved for a matching nail art.

As you know from this post I do not like grey polishes and I own very little and I rarely wear them.
Thank to ABC Challenge I can use forgotten polishes or polish I do not love to wear but worthy a 'ride' on my nails.

I found Faint at Heart from Orly Cool Romance collection (spring 2012). When I applyed it I really liked it, it's a grey taupe, elegant and for 'adult'.

After three layers I stamped in white the single heart from Bundle Monster BM-401 plate. It was easy to put them at the base of my nails with my new clear stamper. It's the key for my 'centered' stampings!

Then I choose the full image from MoYou London 20 Festive Collection plate and I erased unwanted hearts with a wood stick before stamping on ringfinger.

I applyed a layer of top coat to protect.

Nail Art of the Day: Blue Tartan

Per me questo inverno è stato l'inverno degli smalti a effetto velluto, un pò come per i sabbiati, mi sono subito innamorata di questo nuovo finish.

Mi piace soprattutto che se non mi soddisfa l'effetto ottenuto posso lucidare questi smalti con una passata di top coat e trasformarli in classici laccati, uno smalto a doppio effetto insomma!


In questo post ti avevo mostrato lo swatch del mio primo smalto velvet, Kiko 697 Midnight Blue ma nella fretta di pubblicarlo ho tralasciato le foto della nail art che ho deciso di fare.

Un semplice stamping in bianco per provare il nuovo dischetto acquistato da Born Pretty Store, il Cooi #1 con tutte trame tartan, lo adoro!


Per vedere un effetto diverso sulle unghie ho applicato il top coat, a me questa nail art è piaciuta tantissimo e l'ho indossata per diversi giorni abbinandola alla t-shirt che vedi nella foto!

This winter was to me the velvel polish winter, I loved them at first sight as for my sand effect polishes.

I love that if I am not satisfied with the result I can top coat it and transform it in a classic creme look, two polish effects at the price of one!

In this post I showed you my very first velvet polish, Kiko 697 Midnight Blue but in the rush I forgot to show you my nail art.

I did a simple white stamping to try my new nail stamping plate from Born Pretty Store,Cooi #1 with tartan patterns, I love it!

To try a different effect on my nails I top coated and I really loved this nail art! I wore it several days and I matched it with my tartan t-shirt you can see in the pics!

Twinsie Tuesday: Coffee Inspired

Il tema per questa settimana del gruppo Twinsie Tuesday è una manicure ispirata al caffè.


Ho scelto uno smalto marrone, Prince Charming di Orly, come base per la mia manicure, la scelta è stata facile visto che possiedo pochissimi smalti di questo colore, non so perchè ma non mi piace indossare smalti di questa sfumatura.
 

Per una nail art un pò più colorata ho scelto Pixy Stix, sempre di Orly, per l'accent.



Tra i miei tanti dischi per il nail stamping ne avevo uno adatto per una manicure a tema caffè, è un disco che ho comprato su Aliexpress ed è la copia di MoYou London Cookbook 03.
 

Ho usato diversi disegni da questo disco stampandoli in bianco. Poi ho creato degli stickers con i cuoricini del disco OB 36 usando lo smalto speciale nero e colorandoli con gli smalti usati per la base e li ho applicati a contrasto.

Ho usato il top coat per sigillare e mantenere a lungo la mia nail art.

Today theme for Twinsie Tuesday is Coffee Inspired manicure.

I chose a brown polish, Prince Charming from Orly, as my base. I own very few brown polish so my chiose was easy, I do not like this color on my nails. I choose Pixy Stix from Orly too for a nice accent.

Among my nail stamping plates I had one suitable for the theme, I bought it on Aliexpress and it is the copy of MoYou London Cookbook 03.

I used some pattern from this plate in white. Then I created some heart stickers from OB 36 plate and I applyed them in contrast.

I used my top coat to seal and protect my manicure.
