Twinsie Tuesday: Grey and Gold Striped Manicure

** English text at bottom page **

This Tuesday theme for Twinsie Group is Grey and Gold.

At the beginning I thought it was a weird combination and maybe a grey and silver would have been better than gold. I couldn't think about a single grey and gold manicure!

I started with a grey polish that I like, I own just three grey polishes, this is not my kind of color!

I choose Zoya Megan, a creme grey from 2011 Feel Collection. After two layers of Megan I added Gingerbread from Color Club, but instead of an easy glitter gradient I decided to make it challenging with striping tape. I applyed four striping pieces on each nail , then I sponged the glitter polish tryng to apply the more on the tips. I removed the striping tape before the glitter polish dryed.

I applyed two layers of top coat to even the surface out. I wear this manicure for six days and when I removed it it has just some lifting for the heavy top coat layer.

Don't forget to check my fellowes Twinsies' blogs!

  6. Davvero bellissima idea!
