Nail Art of the Day: Azulejos Manicure for Day16 Geometric Print #31DC2016

Per il sedicesimo giorno del 31 Day Challenge il tema è trama geometrica.

Da un pò di tempo avevo in mente di fare una nail art ispirata agli azulejos, le tipiche piastrelle in ceramica portoghesi decorate in blu e bianco.

Sono partita sempre dalla mia base di smalto semipermanente bianco, comodissima per questo challenge!

Poi ho scelto uno dei miei dischetti nuovi di MoYou London, il numero 03 della collezione Arabesque. Lo avevo già usato per questa nail art, ricordi?

Sull'anulare ho stampato una delle immagini geometriche con lo smalto Konad blu.

Per il resto delle unghie ho alleggerito il colore mettendo sull'immagine da stampare sia lo smalto azzurro che blu e li ho amalgamati tra loro con il raschietto.

Questo effetto sfumato e un pò impreciso mi è piaciuto molto!

Ho protetto i miei azulejos con il top coat!

The prompt for day 16 of 31 Day Challenge is geometric pattern.

For some time I was thinking of doing a nail art inspired by azulejos. Azulejos are the typical Portuguese ceramic tilework in blue and white.

I started from my white soak off gel polish base. It is so helpful in this challenge!

Then I chose one of my brand new plates from MoYou London, Arabesque #03. I used it before in this nail art, do you remember?

On my ringfinger I stamped a geometric image in blue.

For the rest of my nails I lightened the color just putting on the plate the baby blue and the blue polish and mixing them with my scraper.

I really enjoyed this blended and blurred effect.

I protect my nail art with top coat.

• Stamping polishes: Konad blue and baby blue
• Stamping: MoYou London Arabesque 03
• stamper and scraper
